Directions to the Lakeview Banquet and Event Center

The Lakeview Banquet and Event Center
5942 Round Lake Road
Laingsburg, MI 48848
517-651-9000

From East Lansing and points south: (approximately 15 minutes from E.L.)

Take 127 North, pass the 69 Freeway exits until reaching the exit for Round Lake Rd.  Exit at Round Lake, and make a left turn at the stop sign (the exit is a U-turn, so you will be turning and heading east).  Follow Round Lake Rd. for approximately 3 miles as it winds and curves.   You will pass a store on your right hand side that advertises propane and live bait.  The Lakeview will be on your right shortly after passing this store.  Look for a white sign with green lettering, which will be at the entrance to the parking lot.

From the MSU campus (avoiding freeways): 15 minutes
This is the more scenic route, but it is slightly less straightforward than taking 127.  It is also not well-lit, so we would not recommend traveling back from the wedding on this route.

Take Abbott Rd. north, passing Lake Lansing Rd. Continue north on Abbott as it becomes Chandler Rd.

Stay on Chandler for approximately 6.5 miles.  You will be driving through rather quiet country roads, but be on the lookout for a single 4-way stop sign at Clark Rd.; it is easy to miss when driving 55 mph.  After this, the road will curve to the left before you reach a T-intersection; this is Round Lake Rd.

Turn right on E. Round Lake Rd. and continue down it for approximately 2.3 miles.  The road will wind and curve slightly.  You will pass a store on your right hand side that advertises propane and live bait.  The Lakeview will be on your right shortly after passing this store.  Look for a white sign with green lettering, which will be at the entrance to the parking lot.
